Our Love Story
Adrian and Hana first met in 2011 at Saint Nicholas Academy. Adrian was a 3rd year student, while Hana was a 1st year student. Back then, Adrian was a CAT officer, and he once collected Hana’s cellphone because bringing phones to school was not allowed yet. They were also both part of the church choir, but they barely noticed each other and never really had the chance to talk.
Twelve years later, on September 23, 2023, their paths crossed again at Harbor Point Ayala Subic. They simply greeted each other with a cheerful “Uy!” Little did they know that this simple encounter would become the beginning of something beautiful.
That same afternoon, they had their first practice for the Christian Life Program, where they served together in the music ministry. Adrian was the drummer, while Hana was a newly recruited keyboardist. As they spent weekends practicing and serving together, they slowly became closer.
At first, Hana saw Adrian as “Kuya”, but as time passed, their conversations became more frequent and meaningful, even when Adrian was working in Manila and Hana was in Subic. Adrian started to appreciate Hana’s captivating smile, and more importantly, her kind and gentle heart. Even when people teased them, he secretly loved the idea. Many also noticed how much they looked alike. Hana eventually fell in love with Adrian’s charm, dedication, talents, his passion for cooking, and faithful heart. He truly was an “all-around” person.
After four months of building a deeper friendship and one month of courtship, they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend on January 7, 2024.
As their relationship grew, so did their faith. They continued to strengthen their love for each other while serving the Lord together. In many ways, they became each other’s answered prayer, a gift from God at the right time.
They got engaged on April 26, 2026, and now they are ready to begin their lifetime journey together. A journey filled with love, growth, and faith. A journey where they will continue to support each other, bring out the best in one another, and serve the Lord hand in hand.
