Our Love Story

Dante and Maureen’s love story began long before they understood what love truly meant. Born just months apart in 1993, their paths first crossed as elementary classmates at JZSES, walking home together after school and sharing the simple joys of childhood friendship.

As they grew older, friendship turned into young love. During high school, Dante courted Maureen, and she said yes to becoming his girlfriend. But life eventually led them to different paths in college. Dante studying in Iloilo City and Maureen in Tabaco City. Distance separated them, and over the years, they built different lives and went through relationships that never truly lasted.

Fifteen years later, fate brought them back together with a simple friend request and message from Dante. Their shared love as furparents reopened communication, and slowly, the connection they once had found its way back into their hearts.

On October 27, 2025, Dante asked Maureen to spend forever with him, and with all her heart, she said “YES!”

Now, the childhood friends who once walked home side by side are finally walking toward forever together. On May 22, 2026, they will exchange vows at Saint Anthony of Padua Cathedral and proving that true love, no matter how much time passes, always finds its way back home.
