Our Story
It was a busy Thursday noon along the stretch of Calle Comercio in the city of Tuguegarao when Venna first laid eyes on MJ sometime in 2014. She was on a calesa and he was walking with a captivating smile, and she instantly felt a fleeting crush.
However, it was just that—a puppy love between two teenagers, both occupied with studies from two different universities, so they went their separate ways.
In 2015, fate reunited them at their friend Glory's 18th birthday, and it was as if Venna's feelings reignited. But, being the Maria Clara that she was, she kept it to herself. Unbeknownst to Venna, Glory played matchmaker and gave her number to MJ. They both decided to give it a shot. However, their initial attempt at dating fizzled without sparks.
Yet, in April 2016, MJ reached out to Venna to rekindle things. This time, the stars finally aligned for them, and they officially became a couple on October 26, 2018. Their wedding day also marks their 8th anniversary. As they welcomed their baby girl in March 2018, Venna and MJ embraced the challenges of parenthood together. Their love deepened with each sleepless night and shared smile. They learned to communicate better, balancing responsibilities while nurturing their relationship. Through late-night feedings and joyful milestones, they grew not only as individuals but as partners, committed to creating a loving home for their child.
And so it begins.
