Our Love Story
We’ve known each other since our childhood days—two familiar faces whose paths were quietly intertwined long before we even realized what it meant.
In 2020, during the stillness of the pandemic, our paths crossed again. What started as a simple birthday greeting changed everything. Don greeted Mimi a happy birthday, and with her playful charm, she replied with a request: “Libre mo ko samgyup.” That one invitation became the beginning of something beautiful.
From then on, it was always road trips and food trips—anywhere and everywhere. Whether it was Tagaytay, Antipolo, or somewhere new on the map, we made it a tradition to explore together. We didn’t just travel for the view; we traveled for the experience—and especially for the food. We even started keeping a list of restaurants we tried for the first time as a couple, each one marking a new memory in our story.
Our love grew with every shared meal, every long drive, every local getaway and international adventure. We simply love discovering new places and new flavors—always hand in hand.
Then came March 2025—our long-awaited dream trip to Japan. In the middle of a dream come true, surrounded by the beauty of the moment, Don asked the most important question. And just like that, another new chapter began.
From childhood friends to travel partners, from spontaneous food trips to forever—this is our story. And this is only the beginning.
