Our Love  Story

The story of Isagani and Manilyn began in the most unexpected way.

It was in February 2019, on what seemed like an ordinary day, when everything started to change. While Isagani was on his way to college riding his motorcycle, he noticed a young woman waiting by the roadside. Her name was Manilyn. What immediately caught his attention was her uniform—it was the same as his. Realizing they were heading to the same school, Isagani turned back and kindly offered her a ride.

At first, Manilyn simply smiled, quiet and unsure of what to say or do. But after a moment, she accepted his offer.
As they traveled together, Isagani started a conversation. He asked for her name and even her Facebook account. In the middle of their conversation, they discovered that they actually lived in the same barangay. However, they had never truly known each other before because Manilyn had been staying with her sister while finishing her college studies.

When they arrived at school, Manilyn immediately offered to pay for the ride. But Isagani gently refused and told her that he wasn’t a driver for hire—he simply wanted to help.
That simple act of kindness became the beginning of something truly meaningful.

Later that day, when Isagani got home, he eagerly searched for Manilyn on Facebook. As soon as he found her, he sent her a message. At first, Manilyn didn’t reply. But Isagani remained patient and persistent. Eventually, she responded—and that simple reply filled his heart with so much joy.
From that moment on, everything began to grow.

Day by day, their conversations deepened. They got to know each other more and more, until Isagani finally found the courage to court Manilyn. On June 18, 2019, their love story officially began.

And from the moment they became a couple, something even more meaningful happened in Isagani’s life. Manilyn became the reason he came to truly know the Lord Jesus—not just as someone he had heard about, but as his personal Savior.

Through Manilyn, his relationship with God deepened. What they built was not just a relationship, but a love grounded in faith.

They spent time together in ministry—serving, praying, and worshiping side by side. And in those moments, they grew closer not only to God, but also to each other.

Their love became more than just emotions—it became a shared faith, a shared purpose, and a journey toward God.

Like any relationship, their journey was not perfect. They faced challenges—misunderstandings, trials that tested their patience, trust, and love. But through it all, they chose to hold on—not only to each other, but most importantly, to God.

And because of that, they became stronger.
Their love may not be perfect, but it is real. It continues to grow, strengthened by time, faith, and commitment.

And now, after 7 years of love, loughter and partnership, they stand ready to face a new chapter of their lives together—hand in hand, with love in their hearts, faith in God, and a beautiful story that began in February 2019 with a simple ride… and became a lifetime journey.
