Our Love  Story

No fairy tale begins with perfect love story, sometimes, it simply starts with a genuine friendship.

Back in 2017, inside a Grade 11 HUMSS Section B classroom, two people met without knowing that one day, they would become each other’s forever. At first, there was nothing special just friends, part of the same group. They shared snacks, ate lunch together, and went out after class. Simple moments they barely noticed, quietly building something deeper.

Then one day, a small spark appeared, a simple glass of buko juice that Jerald treated Jogie to. It wasn’t anything grand, but it lingered. It was followed by their favorite pancit, which became their go-to snack.

From there, everything slowly began to change. They were no longer just friends, there was laughter with a hint of shyness, and glances that lingered a little longer than before.

As time passed, they grew even closer until one day, Jerald found the courage to confess his feelings and asked if he could court Jogie. It wasn’t easy for Jogie at first. There was fear, the fear of ruining a long-standing friendship. But in the end, Jogie chose to take the risk. Chose to believe.

And that was where their story as a couple truly began.

Their relationship was never perfect. They faced challenges, misunderstandings, and moments when giving up felt easier. But through every struggle, they chose to stay. They chose to fix things. They chose each other.

Because in the end, true love isn’t measured by how easy it is to love,

but by how you choose to love each other every single day, even when it’s hard.

And to this day, Jerald and Jogie are still together, continuing to choose one another, just like on the very first day they decided to take a chance on love.

A simple story that began with friendship and grew into a love that lasts a lifetime. 💛
