Our Story

Our Lovestory

Jam and Joyce first met on the very first day of their second year in high school at Madana Mohana Academy. Joyce, also known as Daisy in school, was a returnee. During the election of classroom officers, Jam nominated her as Class President. To her surprise—and slight frustration—she won, even though she had always been used to being a class treasurer.

That school year marked the beginning of their playful connection. Jam would constantly find mischievous ways to get Joyce’s attention—like hiding her sandals just so she would chase him. They were like cats and dogs, always teasing and bickering. That summer, their bond grew stronger through constant conversations, and soon, Jam confessed his feelings. They became a couple, but thinking they were still too young, they eventually chose to part ways.

Years later, during their fourth year in college, they reconnected through simple conversations. A small moment—finding a puppy named Chubs—became the bridge that brought them close again. As they both entered the working world, Jam finally got the chance to pursue Joyce once more. This time, they gave their love another chance—and it stayed. Though not perfect, they continued choosing each other through every difference and challenge.

On February 13, 2025, Jam proposed to Joyce. They initially planned to get married that same year, but God had a different plan. Joyce faced a health challenge, and they made the difficult decision to postpone the wedding and focus on her recovery first.

Joyce eventually had to undergo surgery, and through it all, Jam never left her side. During the operation, he stayed strong for her, and throughout her recovery, he continued to care for and support her every step of the way. In that season of uncertainty, their love proved itself not just in words, but in unwavering presence.

Now, they move forward toward marriage—stronger, wiser, and with a deeper understanding of what it truly means to love. Because through every season, every challenge, and every blessing, one thing remained certain: no matter where life takes them, they will always find their way back to each other—standing side by side before God
