Our Love  Story

Their love story began in 2022, when Jay and Monic were introduced by mutual friends. It was during Jay’s vacation from work when they started talking and spending time together. At first, Monic doubted the seriousness of it all, thinking it might just be a fling—especially with all the stereotypes surrounding men in uniform. But Jay proved her wrong. He showed her that his intentions were genuine, and that what they were building was something real.

As time passed, they chose to take a leap of faith and give their relationship a chance to grow. Everything seemed to happen so fast—meeting each other’s families, blending into each other’s lives—and yet, everything fell into place so smoothly. From that moment on, they became each other’s biggest supporters. Monic pursued her career, while Jay decided to continue his schooling, always encouraging one another to chase their dreams.

In 2025, they chose to share a home and a life. While Jay worked, Monic continued to chase her dreams. Their home filled with love as they became fur parents, and soon, their hearts grew even fuller as they prepared to become parents themselves. What they built was not just a house, but a home—one shaped by patience, sacrifice, and unconditional love.

When the time came, Jay sought the blessing of Monic’s parents, honoring not only tradition but the promise he made to love her with respect and sincerity.

Their four-year journey was never perfect. There were misunderstandings, moments of frustration, and nights filled with tired hearts and whispered “ayoko na.” But love was never about perfection. It was about choosing each other—especially on the hardest days. They chose forgiveness over pride, understanding over anger, and hope over giving up.

And today, they stand here—not because their love has no flaws, but because it endured them all. Because through every storm and every quiet moment, they never stopped choosing each other.
