Our Love  Story

Every love story has a beginning, and ours started with a simple "Hi" and "Hello" on social media.

It was back in 2019 when he first reached out to me. At first, I barely paid attention to him because I didn't know who he was. Most of the time, I left his messages unanswered. But he never gave up. He kept checking on me, asking how I was, and patiently waiting for a reply.

Little did I know, he would spend the next four years pursuing me and patiently waiting for the right time.

Then came the day that changed everything.

On my birthday, I jokingly challenged him to see if he could get off his ship and come home to the Philippines just to celebrate my special day with me. To my surprise, he made it happen.

That birthday became the beginning of something beautiful.

It was during that visit that he started courting me in person. As we made the most of every moment together, I witnessed his genuine heart through his kindness, patience, consistency, and countless efforts. Day by day, I got to know him better, and I found myself admiring the kind of man he is. Before I even realized it, I had begun to like him, and little by little, he won my heart.

As the time came for him to return to work and board his ship again, I wanted to send him off with something more meaningful than just memories. So before he left, I finally gave him the answer he had been waiting for.

Yes.

That is why May 9, 2023, became our special day—the day we celebrate the beginning of our journey together.

Along the way, we found ourselves calling each other "Tay" and "Nay." What began as simple nicknames soon became a beautiful reminder of how we care for each other, support each other, and stand by one another through every season of life.

The names became even more meaningful because I no longer have my father, and he no longer has his mother. In each other, we found not only a partner but also the comfort, care, and unconditional love we had been missing.

Today, three years later, our love continues to grow stronger.

Although distance has often separated us, he has never made me feel alone. Through his unwavering love, endless effort, and constant communication, he has always made me feel close to his heart, no matter how many miles were between us.

Above all, we are deeply grateful to God for allowing our paths to cross. We believe that meeting each other was never just a coincidence but was part of His perfect plan. He brought us together, and in His perfect time, He wrote our love story.

Now, we are ready to begin our greatest adventure yet as husband and wife.

Together, we will embrace every joy, overcome every challenge, and build a home founded on faith, love, and unwavering commitment, with God always at the center of our marriage.

We entrust our dreams, our future, and the family we will build into His loving hands, believing that His plans are far greater than anything we could ever imagine.

This is not the end of our love story; it is only the beginning of our forever.

To God alone be all the glory, honor, and thanksgiving.
