WELCOME TO OUR WEDDING WEBSITE

We can’t wait to celebrate our special day with you. Feel free to have fun to take a look around. Thank you for the love and support. We are so excited to share this day with you!

As much as we love to invite everyone, we are only inviting you. We have chosen the people close to our hearts. We would not want anyone to lose a seat and want everyone to be able to enjoy a sumptuous meal.

Our Love  Story

It was 2019 at Northwest Samar State University, where the rhythm of life moved at different paces for two people who hadn’t yet crossed paths. Jessa was in her final stretch of college, busy with requirements and dreams of what lay ahead, while Jonald was just starting his journey as a freshman, wide-eyed and eager to find his place. For months, they existed in the same campus, breathing the same air, yet completely unaware of each other’s existence. Jessa never even noticed the quiet freshman walking the halls, and Jonald was just a face in the crowd to her—until fate decided to intervene.

One day, a message popped up in Jessa’s Messenger inbox. It was from someone she counted as a Facebook friend, asking for her phone number and saying someone wanted to be friends with her. What she didn’t know then was that Jonald had borrowed his friend’s account, too shy to reach out directly, hoping just for a chance to connect. He told her it was purely about friendship, nothing more, but Jessa, cautious and private, politely refused to share her number. Jonald walked away empty-handed that day, but his curiosity and interest in her only grew stronger. He knew he couldn’t just let her slip away without really meeting her.

Not long after, a roommate invited Jessa to visit a nearby boarding house, saying it was a good chance to meet new people and make friends. Curious and looking for a little break from her schoolwork, she agreed. As she stepped into the room, the sound of a gentle guitar melody filled the air, followed by a warm, soulful voice singing Bulong by December Avenue. Her eyes drifted toward the corner where the music was coming from—and there he was: Jonald, strumming his guitar with ease, completely lost in the song. Jessa stood there, captivated, a little smile tugging at her lips. She had heard plenty of people sing before, but his voice felt different—sincere, soft, and like it held a story all its own. In that moment, the stranger she’d never noticed became someone she couldn’t take her eyes off of.

After that night, their worlds collided in the sweetest way. Jonald made it his mission to see her every single day after his classes, showing up with his guitar or just a smile, eager to spend even a few minutes by her side. They’d sit together for hours—talking about their days, their hopes, their little joys and worries, laughing until their sides hurt, or simply playing music and letting the notes fill the quiet gaps between them. It didn’t take long for friendship to bloom into something deeper. Jonald found himself falling harder with every conversation, every shared moment, and soon he gathered the courage to confess his true feelings, telling her how much she’d come to mean to him. Jessa didn’t answer right away—she wanted to be sure, to let her own heart catch up to what was growing between them.

Three months later, under the same kind sky that had watched their story begin, Jessa looked at Jonald and gave him the answer he’d been waiting for: a soft, heartfelt “Yes.” They were official, and from that day on, their love became their favorite adventure.

Jonald was the kind of partner who made love look easy. He always made sure Jessa felt cherished, safe, and valued—whether it was through small, thoughtful gestures, steady support when she was stressed, or just being there to listen whenever she needed him. Their days were filled with so much happiness and that sweet, giddy “kilig” feeling that made every ordinary moment feel magical.

In May 2019, Jessa walked across the stage to receive her diploma, her college years behind her. Jonald cheered the loudest in the crowd, so proud of the woman he loved, even as he knew their paths were about to change. He still had his studies to finish, while Jessa stepped into the working world, starting a new chapter of her own.

As time went on, life took them in different directions than they’d once imagined. Jonald eventually decided to pause his college education, but it wasn’t the end of his dreams. Since he was a little boy, he’d carried a deep desire to serve his country and become a military man—a dream he’d held close to his heart through all his years. He poured all his energy and determination into making it happen, working hard, training endlessly, and never losing sight of his goal. And finally, his hard work paid off: his childhood dream came true, and he wore his uniform with pride.

Their relationship wasn’t always easy after that. There were days of distance when duty called Jonald away, days of loneliness when they could only talk through messages or brief calls, days when life’s challenges felt too heavy to carry alone. But through every high and low, they held onto one simple truth: love isn’t about how easy things are—it’s about who you choose to stand by, no matter what comes your way.

Relationships are hard, indeed. But when two hearts are truly meant to be, when they love not just the best parts of each other but also the struggles, the changes, and the miles between them—nothing can ever tear them apart. From a borrowed account and a refused number, to a guitar song that stole her heart, to years of growing, changing, and building a life together—Jessa and Jonald proved that the most beautiful love stories aren’t the ones without challenges. They’re the ones where two people decide, again and again, that they’d rather face the world together than walk through it apart. And somewhere along the way, that simple song Bulong became more than just a melody—it became the whisper of their love, echoing through every chapter of their forever.

Relationship is hard but when two hearts are truly committed to choosing each other every single day, no distance, no difference in paths, and no challenge can ever break what they built.

Jonald still sings her favorite songs whenever he gets the chance, and Jessa still listens with that same little spark of amazement she felt the first time. He still makes sure she feels loved and cared for, even when he’s miles away, and she still cheers for him louder than anyone else as he serves and grows. What began as a quiet meeting in a boarding house has bloomed into a love that stands strong—proof that sometimes, the most unexpected beginnings lead to the most beautiful forever.
