WELCOME TO OUR WEDDING WEBSITE
We can’t wait to celebrate our special day with you. Feel free to have fun to take a look around. Thank you for the love and support. We are so excited to share this day with you!
As much as we love to invite everyone, we are only inviting you. We have chosen the people close to our hearts. We would not want anyone to lose a seat and want everyone to be able to enjoy a sumptuous meal.
Our Love Story
Some love stories begin with a chance meeting.
Ours began long before we understood what love even meant.
Joana was seven when she met Emman, who was nine. They were just kids. Playmates at first. Sharing games, laughter, and the simple joy of growing up side by side. Somewhere between afternoons of running around and playing kasal-kasalan, Joana found her very first crush. They would even hold hands during their pretend weddings, not knowing how life would one day mirror that innocent game.
There were nights when Joana would quietly sneak out past curfew just to see him. They would climb the coconut pyramid at his relative’s business, lie beneath the stars, and talk about everything and nothing at all. In those quiet moments, a bond was forming. Pure. Uncomplicated. Real.
Years passed, and so did childhood. By the time Joana was in grade six and Emman was in his final year of high school, they called what they had an “M.U.” But Emman knew Joana still had so much growing up to do. Loving her meant letting her go. So he stepped back, holding onto a quiet promise that when the time was right, he would find his way back.
Life took them on separate paths. They grew. They changed. They lived. And for years, they lost touch.
Then one day, at a mutual friend’s birthday party, they saw each other again. This time not as children, but as adults. The spark was still there. Only now, it was deeper. Steadier. Ready.
Their relationship began not as a fairytale, but as two people choosing each other every day. The early years were not always easy, but they built everything from scratch. Hand in hand. Dream by dream. They learned, supported, and grew together.
Now, after eight years of love, laughter, and partnership, Joana and Emman are ready to fulfill the promise that quietly began in childhood. Not in a game of kasal-kasalan, but in a real and lasting marriage.
What started as innocent handholding under the stars has become a lifetime of choosing each other.
And this time, it’s forever.
