Our Love  Story

Puppy love is something everyone has heard of and most of us have experienced. It’s a love between a young couple within days or weeks of getting to know each other. It’s more like blind affection - immature, young love. It’s been said that puppy love leads to nowhere, but not in this case.

Kim and Joanah were schoolmates since elementary. They started to know each other casually when they were classmates in an MTAP summer class on fourth grade. Unknowingly, they have shared common interests in their favorite subject, Math. Since then, Kim has been part of the volleyball varsity team, while Joanah belongs to the school's pilot class.

As technology advances, so does the way of showing love and affection. Their modern love story started with Kim's friend request during the summer in 2011. Facebook chats, SMS texts and late night phone calls followed it. Reminiscing the good old high school days still make them feel the butterflies in their stomach. Despite their age, they took the risk of young love with commitment but set with boundaries. Sharing different worlds - sports and academics, made their relationship exciting and well-balanced.

Their path was never easy, but with faith and patience, they managed to conquer the world hand in hand. What is special about their love story is that they were able to reach every milestone in their lives having each other as their constant.

The chance of marrying your high school sweetheart is minimal, but, here is Kim and Joanah, not missing that chance. Finally! the long wait is coming to an end. Here is another chapter to start as Mr. and Mrs. Quincena.
