Our Love  Story

How We Met

In 2016, a simple message quietly set everything in motion: “Hi po.” What seemed like an ordinary greeting on Facebook became the beginning of something neither Kyle nor Precious expected. At the time, they were simply two people whose paths happened to cross online — connected only by a few mutual friends and a conversation that felt easy from the very start.

Life had them in different places then. Kyle was studying in Cebu while Precious was pursuing her studies in Dumaguete, the same city Kyle and his family called home. Even before they truly knew what their connection would become, distance was already part of their story.

Yet somehow, in the middle of busy school days and miles apart, their conversations kept finding their way back to each other. What began as a simple greeting slowly grew into a friendship, then into something deeper — the kind of connection that quietly turns two separate paths into one shared journey.

Our Journey

Their love story did not begin in the usual way. With strict parents and the demands of college life, Kyle and Precious rarely had the chance to see each other in person. Instead, their relationship quietly blossomed through, heartfelt SMS conversations, and long exchanges on Facebook Messenger. In the spaces between busy days and quiet nights, they learned each other’s dreams, fears, and hopes, building a connection that distance could not diminish.

As the years went on, their love was tested even more when Kyle pursued a career in Marine Transportation, a path that meant long months away at sea. The distance could have easily pulled them apart, but instead, it strengthened the bond they had carefully built. Each message, each call, and every reunion reminded them that their love was worth waiting for.

Like many couples, their journey was not without its challenges. There were moments of longing, misunderstandings, and times when the distance felt especially heavy. But through every storm they faced, Kyle held tightly to one promise in his heart — that one day, after all the waiting and all the miles between them, their love story would lead them to the life they had always dreamed of: a lifetime together.
