Our Love  Story

They say some love stories are written in the stars — ours might’ve been written in punk rock lyrics and ska playlists. 🎶

We were high school sweethearts who bonded over loud music, rebellious vibes, and the fact that we shared the exact same birthday. Lon, who happened to be my brother’s friend, got curious about me because of that little coincidence. One meeting was all it took — the connection was instant, the feelings became mutual, and young love began.

Back then, life was simpler… and harder. No smartphones, no unlimited calls, no constant chats. Just patience, effort, and kilig-filled memories. With me in Bulacan and Lon in QC, distance slowly got in the way. Our story faded without closure, leaving us both wondering “what if?”

Years passed, and life happened. We both met other people and tried different relationships, but somehow, nothing ever truly fit.

Then fate decided to press replay.

Out of all places, we met again in Cavite. We caught up like no time had passed, laughed about old memories, and realized something surprising — the feelings never really disappeared. Beneath all the years, the distance, and the detours, our love story was still waiting for its second verse.

And now, after all the twists, missed chances, and unexpected reunions, here we are… finally tying the knot on our birthday. 🎂💍

What started as two teenagers sharing the same birth date, music taste, and young love became a once-in-a-lifetime story — a love that grew, got lost, found its way back, and chose forever on the very day it all began: the day we were both born.

From high school lovers to almost strangers, to soulmates finding each other again — ours is proof that true love always finds its way back.
