Our Love  Story

Marlon and Mincel first met at work in 2020, when Mincel was completing her student placement and training. What started as a simple workplace acquaintance gradually became the beginning of a beautiful journey together.

They turned out to be the perfect travel partners. Marlon loves taking his car out for long drives, while Mincel enjoys discovering new places and experiencing the beauty of New Zealand. Along the way, Marlon patiently taught Mincel how to become more confident driving on New Zealand’s long and winding roads. With his encouragement, she learned to drive long distances at a steady pace and eventually gained the confidence to do it on her own. Even today, whenever time allows, they continue exploring the breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand together.

Marlon has been one of Mincel’s greatest sources of encouragement throughout her nursing journey. At first, Mincel never imagined she would become a Registered Nurse in New Zealand because of the strict requirements, challenging examinations, and extensive documentation. Many aspiring nurses give up along the way, but Marlon remained her constant supporter. He encouraged her through every exam, every requirement, and every difficult moment. It was never an easy journey, but after overcoming every challenge, Mincel can now proudly say, “It was all worth it.”

As the years passed, their friendship blossomed into love. They learned to lean on each other, support one another through life’s ups and downs, and cherish the time they spent with each other’s families. Through every blessing and every hardship, they faced life hand in hand, always making sure that God remained at the center of their relationship.

Now, they look forward to beginning a new chapter together—built on love, faith, friendship, and a lifetime of adventures yet to come.
