Our Love  Story

A Love Story: 25 Years of Togetherness


Our story began not with a whirlwind romance, but with a shared passion for service at San Felipe Neri Parish Church in Mandaluyong as volunteer Catechist. It was 1995, at World Youth Day event, where we both found ourselves as facilitators, guiding and inspiring young hearts. Melvs noticed my quiet strength, radiant smile, and the way my eyes sparkled with purpose. I saw in him a gentle spirit, a steadfast dedication, and a humor that filled the room with warmth.


Our connection deepened as we served together in our parish. We weren't just colleagues; were friends. We spent hours in meetings, organizing events, and supporting each other's efforts. We discovered a mutual respect, a shared faith, and a comfortable camaraderie that laid the foundation for something more profound. We shared laughter after long meetings, supportive gestures during challenging times, and a growing awareness of a special bond.


Five years of friendship blossomed into a beautiful romance. In the sacred year of 2000, the Year of Jubilee, our love culminated in marriage. It was a celebration of faith, hope, and the beginning of a lifelong journey together. The church, filled with family and friends, echoed with our vows and the promise of forever.


Two years later, in 2002, our joy multiplied with the arrival of our daughter, Betina. She was a living testament to our love, a precious gift that filled our home with laughter, and a new depth of love. Every milestone of our daughter's life became a shared celebration, strengthening our bond.


Twenty-five years have passed since that joyous wedding day. Our journey has been a tapestry woven with shared dreams, quiet moments, and the everyday miracles of life. There have been challenges, undoubtedly, but through it all, our love has been the constant thread, holding them together, growing stronger with each passing year. It's a story of love that began with friendship, was nurtured by faith, and continues to flourish with the grace of time.

  • RSVP

    As much as we would love to accommodate all our friends and family, we have a limited number of guests. Please understand that this event is strictly by invitation only. Guests not found on the guest list provided will not be allowed to enter. 



    The favor of a reply is required on or before May 23, 2025.

  • Is there parking space available for my car?

    Yes, there is parking available at the venue. However, please take note that it is first come, first served basis, and limited so you might not want to be late. You may also consider "drop and go".

  • I said "NO" to the RSVP but I had a change of plans-I can attend now! What should I do?

    • Please check with us first. Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list.


    • Kindly inform us if your schedule clears up, so we can try to accommodate you.


    • If seats become available, we will let you know as soon as possible.


    • Please do not attend unannounced, as we may not have any available seats for you.

  • When is the appropriate time to leave?

    This event took us months to plan, and we want to celebrate it with the people that are very dear to our hearts. We want you to have fun! Celebrate with us until the end of the program!

  • How can I help the couple have a great time during their wedding?

    • Pray with us for favorable weather and the continuous blessings of our Lord as we enter this new chapter of our lives as husband and wife.
    • RSVP as soon as your schedule is cleared.
    • Dress appropriately and follow our wedding motif.
    • Be on time.
    • Follow the seating arrangement in the reception.
    • Stay until the end of the program.
    • Join the activities and enjoy!

  • May I invite a "PLUS ONE" to the event?

    As much as we would love to accommodate all our friends and family, we have a limited number of guests.


    Please understand that this event is strictly by invitation only. Kindly check our invitation to know the number of seats allotted for you. Guests not found on the guest list provided will not be allowed to enter.

  • What if I RSVP'd but cannot attend?

    We would love to have you at our wedding, but we understand that there are circumstances beyond our control. However, please let us know as soon as possible so we can reallocate your seat/s.

  • Can I sit anywhere at the reception?

    Please don't. It took us a lot of effort and discussion to finish the seating arrangement, which is planned for everyone's convenience and preference, but there is no need to worry! You'll surely be seated with your friends or people that you have same interest with.


    Our coordinators will gladly assist you in finding your designated seat after registration. Feel free to ask them for assistance and they will gladly help you.

  • Am I allowed to take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

    We request everyone to keep the ceremony camera-free. While our I Do’s are unplugged, our reception is not and definitely as a couple who loves pictures, you’ll get tons of options to take your pictures. We prepared for this event wholeheartedly.

  • Do we really need to RSVP? We already said "YES" to the couple.

    Yes, please. We will be needing your formal RSVP to consolidate guest details and finalize the headcount for catering and seating purposes.
