Our Love Story
Groom's pov: When my mother passed away, I felt completely lost. It was one of the darkest seasons of my life. Back then, I didn't even know what love felt like anymore. The only thing I held on to was the promise I made to my mother to finish my studies and make her proud.
Then one day, someone unexpectedly walked into my life. Her name is Ana Carmela.
She slowly changed everything. Without even realizing it, she brought light back into the life I thought would always be dark. What started as admiration became something much deeper. Before I knew it, I found myself saying, "I really like this woman." And eventually, "I love her."
Ana gave me more than just love. She gave me hope, endless support, and reminded me that love never truly disappears. Sometimes, all we need is the courage to open our hearts again and trust them.
Today, we're no longer just dreaming for ourselves. We're doing our very best for each other and for the beautiful family we've built together, especially for our precious daughter.
Looking back, I realize that losing my mother was the hardest chapter of my life, but meeting Ana became the beginning of a new one. And every day, I thank God that our paths crossed.
Bride's pov: Since I was little I have had a passion for singing, i joined choir in Ust back in highschool and until my college years in SJC. Fast forward to college, I became the president of our chorale. Our conductor then invited me to join her other choir, Franciscan Dream Chorale, and continue singing there.
One day, she decided to hold our practice at our school. She also gave me the task of handing out snacks to all the members. During that practice, I couldn't help but steal a few glances at the guy beside me. He was a tenor, and since tenors and altos usually stand next to each other during rehearsals, we naturally ended up side by side.
The last thing I expected was for him to be the one to make the first move. Though he was shy and wanted to talk to me, he started our conversation by sending me a picture of Valak because he knew matatakutin ako. It was funny, unexpected, and somehow became the beginning of everything.
Paolo showed me a deeper meaning of love, of having someone with you. He made me feel what it is to be someone's choice, without him knowing he not just made me better but he showed me a man. A man who will fight for you, will prove others that what you have is true. :)
As the days passed, our feelings slowly grew. We spent more time together, built a beautiful connection, and eventually fell in love. We continued to grow and support each other through every season of life.
And today, here we are—blessed with our little princess and holding on to our promise of forever.
