Our Love  Story

It all began back in 2019 at Hi-Precision, where Leslie and I were seatmates. For three years, we shared desks, workloads, and…well, pretty much avoided sharing much else, aside from mutual work-related concerns and team snacks. Haha! In 2020, I decided to leave the company, leaving Leslie to endure the office grind without me. Yet, as fate would have it, the universe wasn’t done with us. By 2021, during the chaos of the pandemic, our paths crossed again when I returned to Hi-Precision.

In 2022, it was Leslie's turn to resign. But instead of a standard farewell, this marked the beginning of something unexpected. Our ever-persistent friends, Shane and Patrick, saw an opportunity and transformed into part-time matchmakers, teasing us relentlessly to spark some “office romance.” Even Mark, who pretended to be against the idea, secretly rooted for us— probably while pretending to roll his eyes.

As our connection grew, we went from desk buddies to road trip companions. The teasing started as harmless fun, but it wasn’t long before those playful jabs worked their magic, and we decided to get to know each other better. One special trip to Baguio brought us closer, but it was our first solo adventure to Cavinti in June 2022 that truly sealed the deal. Picture this: a picturesque lake, a cozy "duyan," and the starry night sky as witnesses. Leslie boldly told me, “I want to be with you.” I’m no expert in romantic gestures, but that moment felt like something straight out of a movie. Applause for the duyan, please. From there we called each other “Hoshi” which means STAR.

Not long after, we moved in together with our first “daughter”—just kidding! Kulasa is Leslie’s niece. Together, we started collecting memories, whether during epic trips or mundane grocery runs. One unforgettable adventure to Palawan ended with me popping the big question. Spoiler: Leslie said yes.

Now, on May 24, 2025, here we are—ready to tie the knot, surrounded by the love, laughter, and support of family and friends. This is just the beginning of our new adventure, and I can’t wait to see where the road takes us next.
