Our Love  Story

To outsiders, their story looked simple -- two people who stayed. But the truth was layered with seasons: beginnings full of laughter, years that tested patience, moments that nearly broke them, and quiet days that stitched everything back together.

In a previous life, he was married to his daughter's mother. He had met her when life still felt like a question. They both had past trauma, and yet, there was something about the way they fit for each other.

In the early years, love was grand. Hearts and flowers, and spontaneous plans. They thought that was what love would always look like.

There were moments when life pressed hard against them. Times when doubt crept in, when timing seemed off, when the weight of everything made it easier to let go. But they didn’t.

They chose each other on days when love felt effortless. They learned how to rebuild after breaking and how to hold space for each other’s flaws.

They made a lot of memories, and still do, and kept the relationship stronger thru shared love of travel and good food.

Eleven years is a long time to know someone. Long enough to see them at their worst and still recognize their best. Long enough to understand that love isn’t just about staying happy—it’s about staying committed.

The woman he met years ago had changed, stronger now, and more certain of herself. The man she once knew had steadied and learned how to love in ways that mattered.

Now, when they look at each other, it’s not just about the past they survived. It’s about the future they’re ready for. They’ve already proven what they’re capable of— through struggles and through time itself.

And after everything—after eleven years of choosing, staying, learning, and loving—they find themselves exactly where they were always meant to be: Still together and still choosing each other.

And this time, they can’t wait to finally say "I do."

Yes, please. We will be needing your formal RSVP to consolidate guest details and finalize the headcount for catering and seating purposes.
