Our Love  Story

We first met during our first year at PUP. I noticed Chen right away—especially her hips, joking with friends that they could carry my children. I had no idea then she’d become my forever.

We started as friends but drifted apart, exchanging only occasional messages. Still, Chen pulled at me in a way I couldn’t ignore. I kept reaching out, hoping fate had more in store.

Then one simple message changed everything.

That began a beautiful relationship tested by distance. For the first year, we only chatted and called—no video or meetings. Five years later, with less than one year physically together, we’ve endured a long-distance relationship many say is impossible.

LDR is tough—demanding and exhausting—but it takes two willing to work through pain and believe no distance is too great.

From the start, I told Chen, “I will marry you and build a family.” She laughed then, but I knew I’d found my person.

From a promise ring to a proposal and now marriage, our journey has been wonderful. I look forward to every moment ahead, trusting love and commitment will carry us through.
