Our Love  Story

Jen first crossed paths with Von at Urdaneta City University in 2014. Two clueless strangers navigating their own journey into college life and yearning for a better future.

It was their first day of school taking up Bachelor of Science in Psychology. No common friends, no idea about surviving that college life, or why did they choose to take that course in the first place either.

On that very first day, Jen needed to pay for her learning materials and fill out her personal details on the class card. But she hadn’t had her paper bills exchanged, and her pen wouldn’t write. Shy but determined, she approached Von—quietly sitting by the window, lost in thought—and asked to borrow a five-peso coin for the training materials, along with his pen. That simple “first day of school” encounter soon blossomed into small conversations, which eventually grew into a bigger circle of friendship.

They became each other's safe space, proving that sometimes the best psychology lesson is not found in books, but in learning how to love someone with patience understanding, and empathy.

Through sleepless thesis nights, graduation, fears, and countless cups of coffee, their bond only grew stronger.

And on the day they both wore their caps and gowns, they realized they hadn't just earned their degrees-they had also built a love story rooted in trust, healing, and the science of understanding one another.

Because sometimes, two psychology students don't just study the heart--

they find home in each other's.
