of divine timing and the beautiful truth that when two hearts are meant to be together, not even oceans

Our journey to find each other started during a chance meeting when Wes met a man named Joe. Their paths crossed through business, and as they talked, Joe shared how he met his girlfriend from the

Philippines on a dating site called Christian Filipina. Joe encouraged Wes to give it a try. Wes was intrigued by the idea but hesitant, unsure if he was ready to put his heart on the line again. Still, a seed had been planted, and over time, it quietly grew.

Curiosity eventually led Wes to dive deeper— researching both the Philippines and the site Joe mentioned.

Everything he discovered seemed to resonate with his hopes and values. One evening, after much thought

and prayer, Wes decided to take a leap of faith. He signed up, made a profile and stepped into the world

of online dating for the very first time.

It wasn’t long before he found Cindy’s profile. There was something captivating in her words—a quiet

grace, beauty, and an unmistakable love for God. Her profile made it clear she wasn’t interested in casual

winks or surface-level connections. Wes, in his playful spirit, couldn’t resist and sent a wink anyway, curious

to see what might happen. To his surprise, Cindy winked back at him.

Cindy wasn’t entirely sure why she responded, but something about Wes’ description of his ideal woman,

along with his principles, values, and faith, struck a chord with her. In that moment, she realized Wes

reflecting on the lake, Cindy said yes— her heart full and overflowing with happiness.
