Our story began in 2017 at Luxury Buffet NIU by Vikings.

Back then, I was working as a server, while she was the receptionist. We were simply two people working under the same roof, never imagining that fate was quietly writing the beginning of our forever.

Just a few days after meeting her, she had already captured my heart. There was something about her smile, her kindness, and the way she carried herself that made me want to know her more.

Gathering all my courage, I searched for her on Facebook and sent her a message. I waited... and waited... but no reply came. Days turned into weeks, and I wondered if she had even seen my message.

Then, after a month, something wonderful happened.

I finally received a sweet "Hello" from her.

Later, she confessed something that still makes us laugh today. She hadn't recognized me at first because my Facebook profile picture looked so emo! She even tried searching for me, but the only thing she knew was my nickname at work—JD. Despite all the confusion, destiny found its way.

In December 2017, after months of getting to know each other, she finally said "Yes" to my courtship. It was one of the happiest moments of my life, because it marked the beginning of a beautiful journey together.

From 2018 to 2025, our love continued to grow stronger. We celebrated victories, faced challenges, laughed together, comforted one another during difficult times, and created countless memories. Every experience reminded us that love is not just about the happy moments—it's about choosing each other every single day.

On February 9, 2025, we shared another unforgettable milestone—our very first trip abroad together. At the happiest place on earth, Disneyland, I asked the most important question of my life.

I proposed to the woman who had become my best friend, my greatest blessing, and the person I wanted to spend forever with. I saw in her not only the love of my life, but also the perfect wife who would stand beside me through every season—for better or for worse.

Our love story reminds me of Cinderella.

Just as the Prince searched tirelessly for the girl whose glass slipper had captured his heart, I searched for the woman who had unknowingly captured mine. After she left NIU by Vikings, I refused to give up. No matter the challenges, I kept believing that love would find its way.

And it did.

After all the searching, all the waiting, and all the beautiful moments we've shared, here we are—standing hand in hand, ready to begin our greatest adventure yet.

Today, we are no longer just two people who met at work.

We are two hearts that found each other, chose each other, and will continue choosing each other for the rest of our lives.

This is not the end of our love story.

It is only the beginning of our "happily ever after."
